Get Zeacon up and running on your website - from adding your domain to going live.

Step 1: Enter your website URL

Enter the website URL or domain where you plan to add Zeacon. This tells Zeacon which site to connect to and ensures your videos are served correctly.

---

Step 2: Install the Zeacon code snippet

Copy the Zeacon code snippet from your account and paste it inside the <head> tag of your website. This is required for Zeacon to detect your pages and serve video content.

<!-- Zeacon -->

<script src="https://cdn.zeacon.io/embed.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" async></script>

Step 3: Add videos to your Zeacon library

Choose where to source your videos. You can add content to your Zeacon library in two ways:

- Upload from your computer β€” drag and drop or browse for video files saved locally

- Import from online β€” pull videos in from platforms like Instagram directly into your library

πŸ’‘ You can mix and match β€” some videos uploaded, others imported from social. All appear in your unified library.

---

Step 4: Connect your Instagram account

To import videos from Instagram, connect your account directly from within Zeacon. Go to Settings β†’ Connected Accounts and click Connect Instagram. Once authorised, your Instagram videos will be available to import into your library.

Zeacon supports both personal and business Instagram accounts. You'll only need to connect once β€” new posts can be synced at any time afterwards.

---

Step 5: Add in-video CTAs to each video

Click any video in your library to open its settings. From there you can add a call-to-action (CTA) that will appear as an overlay while the video plays β€” for example, a button linking to a product page, a discount code, or a newsletter signup.

Repeat this for each video in your library. CTAs can be edited at any time without re-uploading the video.

πŸ’‘ CTAs with clear, single actions (e.g. "Shop now" or "Get 10% off") tend to convert better than generic prompts.

---

Step 6: Review your content map

Navigate to the Content Map page in your Zeacon account. This is where Zeacon shows you a visual overview of every page on your website and which videos are mapped to appear on each one.

From here you can reassign videos to different pages, adjust placement, and confirm that your content strategy is set up exactly as intended.

---

Step 7: Preview your website pages

From the Content Map page, click the preview icon next to any page to see a live preview of what that page will look like with Zeacon videos embedded. This lets you check that:

- The right videos are showing on the right pages

- CTAs look correct and link to the right destinations

- The placement fits naturally within your page layout

Make any final adjustments before moving to step 8.

---

Step 8: Switch Zeacon on and go live

Once you're happy with your CTAs and content mapping, it's time to go live. Return to the Content Map page and toggle Zeacon on. Your videos will immediately become visible to visitors on your website.

πŸ’‘ You can switch Zeacon off at any time from the Content Map page without losing any of your settings or content.
