Adding a dynamic video embed to your website is a straightforward process that allows you to showcase videos seamlessly. Follow the steps below to create, customize, and embed a dynamic video player:
Step 1: Access the Settings Page
Begin by navigating to the Settings page of your platform. This is where all customization and configuration options are managed.
Step 2: Open the Player Embed Section
Within the Settings menu, locate and select Player Embed. This section houses all tools for creating and managing dynamic video embeds.
Step 3: Create a New Dynamic Video Embed
To create a new embed, click on the Create New Player button. This will initiate the setup process for your video player.
Step 4: Name Your Video Embed
A modal titled Create New Player Embed will appear. Here, provide a unique and descriptive name for your new dynamic video embed. This name will help you identify and manage the embed later.
Step 5: Customize Your Video Embed
Choose the customization options that suit your needs. You can personalize settings such as player appearance, controls, and behaviors. These settings can be modified at any time, so you have the flexibility to update the embed later.
Step 6: Save Your Embed
Once you’ve configured your settings, click the Save button in the modal to finalize the creation of your dynamic video embed.
Step 7: Copy the Embed Code
After saving, you’ll be provided with a video embed code snippet. By default, this snippet is responsive, meaning it will automatically adjust to fit various screen sizes. If you prefer a fixed size, define your desired dimensions before copying the code snippet.
Step 8: Add the Embed Code to Your Website
Paste the copied code snippet into your website's HTML where you want the video player to appear. Ensure you place it in the correct section of your site for optimal visibility and functionality.
Step 9: Publish a Video to the New Embed
To activate the new dynamic video embed, go to the Library page on your platform (e.g., Zeacon) and publish a video to the embed you just created. This step connects your content to the embed and makes it live on your website.
